Cheyenne is a leggy beautiful 16.3 hand KWPN mare who was born in 2007 in Holland. She
is by the popular dutch stallion, Flemmingh, who is also the sire of
many great international horses, including the stallions Lingh and
Ampere, out of a mare by the stallion Giorgio who also has bred many successful dressage horses. Chy was started at Rosebrook late in 2009. Cheyenne is
one of the sweetest kindest young horses we've ever met with great
ridability and presence. Her fairly quiet yet kind demeanor but great work
ethic and elastic gaits make her a very pleasant horse to work with and
ride. She has a stunning neck and topline. She is that nice combination of "forward" and "sensible" that makes for a truly enjoyable ride. She learns quickly and easily. She made her debut in the show
arena in 2011, taking home many blues with scores into the 70's in
training level. Her gaits are easily 8's! Cheyenne was also shown in
hand in 2011, and was Champion Mare under Saddle at the prestigious
Dressage at Devon, and placed second in the Mares in hand class to the
incredible Rabiola, owned by Iron Spring Farm. She also won the Dutch
Horse championship at the NEDA Fall Dressage Festival, as well as the
mares 4 & 5 year old Materiale Class. Cheyenne is easy to work
around and ships like a pro. She is ready to compete at first level, and is starting all second level movements. Just be careful if you do come try her, because you will certainly fall in love! Located in Georgetown, MA. Private treaty.
