Our
full time staff is devoted to your horse's health and well being. While
we maintain a competitive board rate, we are dedicated to doing
everything your horse requires for his health, comfort, and happiness. Every horse at the farm is treated with the extra special attention as though he or she was Cindi's own. The staff is happy to give their supplements, put on turnout boots and blankets, and do many of the things that other farms might charge extra for at no additional charge. We work very hard to take the best care of your horse, and it will be done your way! The following is just a small part of what makes boarding at Rosebrook a special experience, but if there are other services you might require, please feel free to contact Cindi directly!
The following services are all included in your boarding contract at Rosebrook:
- Top quality feeds two or three times a day depending your horses nutritional requirements.
- Top quality hay, fed in generous amounts four times throughout the day and even at night check.
- A consistent and reliable feed schedule, that takes into accounts the individual needs of ever horse.
- Medications and supplements will be dispensed by our professional and qualified staff in the morning, evening and even lunch time feeds, as per your directions.
- We strongly believe that regularly scheduled turnout is essential to the happiness and health of the equine athlete, so we provide daily half day turnout, individually or with a buddy as you instruct us. (While
most of our horses are very happy spending half the day in our
comfortable airy barn as they can see what's going on all the way around
them, all day turnout is available for an extra charge.)
- Daily observation by attentive staff of your horse's behavior to help ensure wellness and happiness. Any variations in their behavior will warrant closer monitoring and a call to the boarder.
- Blanket changes per your request, or as the weather dictates.
- Fly predators have been used regularly since 2006, helping keep
our bug population at bay without exposing your horse to unnecessary
pesticides.
- Turnout boots, bell boots, fly masks and sheets for turnout per your request.
- A target specific worming program as prescribed by one of our best local veterinarians.
- Routine shots and dental appointments are scheduled with two local veterinary practices which you are welcome to participate in. But you are also
welcome to work with your own vet at your convenience! (You will be billed privately by your veterinarian for all services rendered by him. Certain shots
and vaccinations are required to board at Rosebrook to ensure the health
and protection of all our boarders and animals. Documentation of shots and coggins may be requested .)
- Pick up for blanket cleaning and repairs regularly arranged.
- Stalls done twice daily, and bedded with ample quality kiln-dried pine shavings.
- Water buckets scrubbed daily. Feed tubs and stall bars scrubbed weekly or more.
- Weekly mashes.
- Full time friendly barn manager and staff who truly enjoy what they do.
- Trainer or farm manager on-site 24 hours.
Many of our very experienced boarders prefer to perform 'extra' care for their horses themselves, however our staff is experienced and well
qualified and can be hired to bandage your horse, groom them, tack up, handwalk,
clip them, medicate, or anything else you may require during those times you just
can't make it. If there is something that we can do to help you or your
horse out, please don't hesitate to ask, we are more than happy to help you out!
